Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actress. Her film debut was in 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actress. She started her film career beginning in the early 1980s, with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of praise. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. She appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1985, a comedy drama which followed her first success. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the top high school film ever made. Even though the budget of the film was only $1 million, it made more than $50 million in profits. In the meantime the actress began appearing in different TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. From April 1980 it was an adolescent program. Other shows on TV she was in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about a superhero in which she plays a cameo. Sheedy is known for her amazing performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
